It was really an eventful week in the ‘Big Brother’ house this week understatement. At the beginning of the week, three residents were already nominated, although they could still lose that nomination. And they really did everything for that…
After Danny’s departure, Big Brother immediately surprised the residents with a new nomination round. Each resident was again allowed to nominate three other candidates. The candidates with the most votes would then have been nominated all week, but would still have the opportunity to lose that nomination. The three residents who were in the danger zone were Glenn, Ashley and Tyron.
Played hard
Through games, temptations in the Big Brother Shop and cunning offers from Big Brother himself, Tyron, Ashley and Glenn were able to undo their nominations. Both Tyron and Glenn hit it. Ashley, on the other hand, remained nominated until the very end.This meant that the residents – with the exception of Ashley – had to nominate again.
The residents with the most votes this time are Karen, Jimmy and Randy. So they have been nominated together with Ashley. Or not? Big Brother called the four candidates into the game room for a final temptation, just before the nominations were announced.

Meanwhile, the other residents followed from their seats to see who had actually been nominated. While they were anxiously waiting for the names, the money sound went off. The counter of the group pot suddenly shows 20,000 (!) euros less.
Meanwhile, the names of the nominees appeared on the screen: Karen, Randy and Jimmy. “So that means Ashley saved herself,” Alice said. And she is right. In the game room, the four nominated residents were given the opportunity to redeem themselves.
The idea was simple: whoever would print first was no longer nominated that week. Although it did come with a serious price tag. About €20,000 to be precise. The longer the candidates waited, the lower the amount for which they could redeem themselves would become. If no candidate pressed, they were all nominated.
20,000 in the trash
Although neither nominee intended to press, Ashley very clearly proved otherwise. Before Big Brother had finished counting down, Ashley had already pressed. So she gets her own name off the nomination board and 20,000 euros from the group pot.
When the residents came back out of the game room, Ashley was in tears. “I’ve always had everything against me and that’s been very hard for me personally,” she said.
But Karen couldn’t believe it either and continued to sob incessantly. It’s clear that Jimmy, Tyron and Randy, on the other hand, are livid. They fled to the garden with the doors slamming and the atmosphere in the house dropped below zero.
