Leuchter: ‘I showed myself well’
Romée Leuchter is happy that she was able to show herself at the highest level through the successful Champions League campaign. “I have shown that I can take a step higher,” Leuchter said NOS. “Everyone wants to show themselves on the highest stage. I did that well, then we’ll see what happens.” The Dutch international previously indicated that he wanted to leave Ajax after this season.

Grant: ‘Going home with my head held high’
Chasity Grant, the only goal scorer on the Amsterdam side, responded proudly to the 1-1 draw. “We are going home with our heads held high,” she said to the NOS. “We showed quite a good game and learned from last week. That was a goal to show.” Grant scored the equalizer and goes to the Dutch team with a good feeling. “I am very happy that I was called up. The fact that I am now scoring is only great.”
