The FunX audience has determined who is nominated for the most important music awards of the young Netherlands: the FunX Music Awards.
Jonna Fraser has the best chance of winning a FunX Music Award with five nominations. Kevin and Dystinct are also major contenders with four nominations. Yade Lauren is a promising candidate among female artists with three nominations. The audience decides who will take home a FunX Music Award. FunX DJ Fernando Halman opened the voting period this morning in ‘Start with Fernando’.
On Thursday, May 30, FunX will present the FunX Music Awards for the eleventh time. The musical successes of the past year will be celebrated in a sold-out AFAS Live in Amsterdam, with performances by Jonna Fraser, Reanny and CHO, among others, all three of whom also have a chance to win an award. The rest of the line-up will be announced on Monday, May 13 Start with Fernando. For those who missed out on tickets, there is still hope: as of today, FunX is giving away the very last tickets to listeners who cast their votes via FunX.nl/awards.

Two nominations for Ronnie Flex
Ronnie Flex gave a spectacular final show together with The Fam last year during the anniversary edition of the FunX Music Awards, this year he has been nominated for two awards: Artist Of The Year Male and Best Collab together with Katnuf, Jonna Fraser & CAZA. It was an eventful period for Ronnie Flex, who was in the news earlier this year for his action against his former record label.
