Antec has released a new mid-tower cabinet. The Constellation C5 is available in white and black, has a glass front and side panel and is compatible with various motherboards whose power connections are on the back, so they are not visible.

The C5 in Antec’s Constellation lineup is a mid-range case that the company says has support for ATX, micro-ATX, and ITX motherboards. The CPU may be a maximum of 160mm high and the GPU may be a maximum of 410mm long. The case has a dual chamber model in which the power supply and drives can be installed in a separate ‘room’ from the CPU and GPU. The case also supports multiple cable-free motherboards, including the BTF series from ASUS and Project Zero from MSI. These companies showed components with those properties last year during Computex as a new trend, but have been working on this for some time; Tweakers already wrote an article about this last year.

The cabinet also has tempered glass on the side and front. There is room for three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans on both the top and the side, with an option for a separate 120mm fan at the back and three 120mm fans on the bottom. There is also room in the case for a single 3.5″ HDD and two 2.5″ drives. Two water coolers of maximum 360mm fit at the top and bottom of the case. There is room on the side for a 280mm radiator.

On the front there’s an I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, in addition to a standard audio jack. The case measures 285x469x400mm and weighs 7.6 kilograms. The price of the cabinet is unknown.
