Yet it is a shame to see these kinds of developments. Constantly wanting to integrate into cloud services for local business. If I want to search for something on the Internet, I start a browser. If I want to search for something on my PC, I start Explorer. If I’m looking for a locally installed program, I think it makes sense to select the start menu for it.
For some reason, these kinds of things that make sense to me seem to be killed off in modern operating systems.

I have an iPhone myself, and if you leave it completely standard, I find the search function (Spotlight) very annoying. It simultaneously searches documents, websites, wiki pages, apps, etc, etc, etc. I just want to start my app. Fortunately, you can simply turn off most things, so the result is okay, but I find the default setting really terrible.
I have a ‘home screen’ that contains a few individual apps that I frequently use. I access the rest via the search function. This is what I enjoy working best, but for some reason, I seem to be unique in it
