Samsung has released the One UI 6.1 upgrade with Galaxy AI features for Galaxy S23 users in the Benelux. Many tweakers have reported since Thursday morning that they received the upgrade.

As of early Thursday morning, users on GoT said they were seeing the upgrade arriving on their phones. The previously announced upgrade brings many of the features that were released earlier this year for the Galaxy S24 to the S23.

This includes Circle To Search, where users can circle something on the screen and search directly for it via Google. Galaxy AI also focuses on translations of telephone conversations and elements in videos, among other things. In addition, the software can transcribe and summarize audio recordings, summarize web pages, and move objects in photos. The S23 was released last year.

Samsung has not yet said whether the features will also come to older phones, even if they could run them. The manufacturer is now making the features available for free, but Samsung may want to charge users for Galaxy AI features after 2025.
