RSC Anderlecht came away with a scare in the match against KRC Genk last weekend. The people of Brussels won the game 2-1, but there was still shivering and shaking in the final phase. Nevertheless, the Purple & White remain in the running for the national title.
Anderlecht had to make do without captain Jan Vertonghen in the match against Genk. The rock in the defense of the Belgian record champion dropped out with an injury, the captaincy was claimed by Zeno Debast. “Gattoni did well defensively, but is less good constructively.
