With three matchdays to go, the end of the competition will be very exciting. In the meantime, the referees for the next matchday and that of the cup final have been announced.
Champions’ Playoffs
On Saturday, May 11, Anderlecht will host KRC Genk. Lawrence Visser will be the ref here and he will be helped from Tubize by Bram Van Driessche. A day later, Antwerp will take on Cercle Brugge at home. Bert Put must manage the game with Jan Boterberg in the VAR.
Union will visit Club Brugge next Monday. Jonathan Lardot will take care of this match. Nicolas Laforge is on VAR duty.
Europe Playoffs
Standard plays at home against KVC Westerlo on Friday evening. Matonga Simonini will be the referee here with Brent Staessens assisting as VAR. KAA Gent hosts OHL on Sunday. Nathan Verboomen is ref with Michiel Allaerts as VAR.
STVV will take on KV Mechelen on Sunday afternoon. Ken Vermeiren must manage this match. Arthur Denil is in Tubize as VAR.
Relegation Playoffs
KAS Eupen plays its last match in 1A against RWDM. The Brussels team must win in turn and hope that KV Kortrijk does not do that against Charleroi.
Lothar D’Hondt whistles Eupen-RWDM with Simon Bourdeaud’Hui as VAR. Wim Smet will whistle for Charleroi-Kortrijk and will be assisted by Kevin Van Damme.
Cup final
Finally, the cup final will follow on May 9. Union SG will take on Antwerp in Brussels. Erik Lambrechts will referee the final and is assisted by Lothar D’Hondt, who is VAR.
