Striking news from Anderlecht. The new Performance Director Dave Cosgrave has already left.
Dave Cosgrave was introduced two weeks ago at RSC Anderlecht. He became the new Performance Director. However, several newspapers report today that he has already left purple and white again.
Officially he left for the United States for private reasons, but it has now been reported that there was internal disagreement about his way of working and the correct fulfillment of his position. The chances of him returning are next to zero.
However, Cosgrave was able to present an impressive CV, including references from the Premier League. He has already worked for Tottenham, Liverpool, Stoke City and Fullham.
Job description
However, there were a number of complaints among the medical staff about Cosgrave’s way of working. The correct definition of his job was apparently not sufficiently clear to everything and everyone, which caused some difficulties.
The timing to appoint someone new in the middle of the title battle seemed, to say the least, not very fortunate and that has now become apparent.
