On Wednesday evening, Cercle Brugge will visit leader Anderlecht. Coach Miron Muslic has been warning the Purple & White for a while.

Cercle Brugge has to deal with a lot of absentees for the match against Anderlecht. Utkus, Popovic and Daland will certainly not be there. Nazinho and Semedo are also still injured.

“Players have been out for long periods all season, but never have there been so many unavailable players at the same time,” Muslic begins at Het Laatste Nieuws. “But that is also a challenge for the boys who will now get their chance.”

“I have never been afraid of throwing young boys to the lions. Ravych is also experienced, he has become an U21 international and can certainly lead the backline,” he continues.

But he also comes with a big warning for Anderlecht. “In any case, Anderlecht should not count themselves rich because of our suspensions and injury burden. No one should assume that they will just take the three points against Cercle.”

“Yes, we lost twice to the Purple & White in the regular competition. In Brussels, however, we created a lot of chances at the end of December, but Denkey was not there to score them,” concludes the Cercle coach.
