Will the cash register ring again this summer? English top club is prepared to deposit fifty million euros (!) into the bank account of Club Brugge – Football News

--

Tottenham Hotspur wants to shop at the Jan Breydel Stadium next summer. The English top club has its sights set on two blue-black strongholds. Is the cash register ringing twice?

We previously wrote that Tottenham Hotspur and Club Brugge have started negotiations. The Spurs were defeated this winter in the battle for Antonio Nusa – his transfer to Brentford FC fell through for known reasons – and they do not intend to be spoiled again.

However, Club Brugge’s asking price is not to Tottenham’s liking. The West Flemish want 37 million euros for the Norwegian attacker. That is also the amount that Brentford would initially put on the table.

According to our information The Spurs however, there is a solution to this. Not only are Tottenham interested in Nusa, but Andreas Skov Olsen is still on London’s radar. Tottenham has been following the Dane since his passage at Bologna FC 1909, but a concrete offer never materialized.

And so Tottenham are thinking about doing a double. The only condition: Club Brugge must think price-oriented. Transfer market estimates the combined market value of Nusa and Skov Olsen at 35 million euros. Although Tottenham realizes that they will come back from a bare-bones trip with such an offer.

Does Tottenham Hotspur want to pay fifty million euros to Club Brugge?

But it does open up perspectives. In broker circles, an offer of fifty million euros for both players can be called very realistic. Moreover, Club Brugge seems inclined to accept such a monster amount. It will be very interesting weeks in and around the Jan Breydel Stadium.
