With victories in Tirreno-Adriatico, Milan-Sanremo and Brugge-De Panne, Philipsen has made an excellent start to the new cycling season. The sprint bomb from Alpecin-Deceuninck is therefore courted by absolute top formations such as UAE Team Emirates and BORA-hansgrohe.
And the 26-year-old rider sees his contract with the Belgian formation of the Roodhooft brothers expire this season. The Philipsen manager has already indicated that discussions will first be held with Alpecin-Deceuninck about a possible contract extension before the competition is given a chance.
