This weekend, around 40,000 Berkshire Hathaway shareholders will meet in Omaha, Nebraska, in the US. They meet the world’s most famous investor Warren Buffett (93). In December 1962, he bought his first shares of the moribund textile company Berkshire Hathaway at 7.6 euros each, subsequently converting that company into an insurer and private equity firm. Today, after an average investment return of almost 20% per year, a share of Berkshire is worth more than $600,000. No wonder investors hang on his every word. HLN money expert Pascal Paepen followed the event and wrote down the ten most interesting investment tips from ‘the oracle of Omaha’.
