The French hypermarket chain Auchan in Roncq – just across the border from Kortrijk – is organizing another parking sale. In a special tent there are palettes full of all kinds of drinks, from water and soft drinks to beer, wine and cava. You can buy them for next to nothing. “I had a full back seat and suitcase and I benefited from 328 euros,” says Promojager Kim with satisfaction.
According to Gunther Devisch of Promojagers Belgium, it is the first time this year that the famous parking sale is taking place and it is really worth it. That’s why he makes it his weekly super tip for HLN readers.
Pepsi ZERO (1.5l) costs less than half the price you pay at Colruyt, he knows. You give 0.72 euros per liter, while at Colruyt it is 1.46 euros per liter.
Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar (1.75l) costs 0.64 euros per liter, while at Colruyt (thanks to a promo) it is currently 1.11 euros per liter. For Coca‑Cola Original Taste (cans, 20x30cl) you pay 0.54 euros per can at Auchan. At discounter Colruyt it is 0.79 euros per can.
For the lemonade 7UP (1.5l) you get a 50 percent discount on the second bottle. This brings the price to 0.66 euros per liter, compared to 1.43 euros per liter at Colruyt. So less than half.
On the water of Vittel a 2+1 free promotion applies, bringing the price to 0.24 euros per liter. That is again less than half of Colruyt, which charges 0.56 euros per liter.
Anyone who enjoys a glass of cava will also find something to their liking. Freixenet Carta Blanca costs 5.39 euros per bottle and Blanc Foussy 5.40 euros per bottle, thanks to a promotion where you get the second bottle for half the price.
