Images of people partying on N45 cause commotion: police were unable to make any findings | Haaltert

The video was made on the N45 at the intersection with Eigenstraat in Denderhoutem and subsequently shared in the social media group ‘Gezetj Van Atom als’. Some cars suddenly stopped at the traffic lights and people were partying in the street. Across the intersection, a driver had pulled over his Mercedes, allowing some of the occupants to film through the roof. It is not clear at this time whether it was a wedding procession, but the reactions on social media also show that they were later spotted honking and partying in other streets in Denderhoutem. It is not known how long they remained stationary on the N45.

There are also many surprised reactions on social media, but none of the cars that drove past the people celebrating called the police. They have now also seen the video on social media, but were unable to make any findings on site. There are section control cameras at the intersection, but it is not clear whether the images can also be used here for identification. No clear license plates are visible in the video that was taken.
