Elburgerbrug and Elburgerweg intersection (N309) open April 26
ELBURG – On Friday afternoon, April 26, 2024 at 4:00 PM, the Elburger Bridge and the intersection of the Elburgerweg (N309) will open again to all traffic. The work has then been completed successfully. With the completion of the work, the important connection between Flevoland and Elburg will remain accessible. The Province of Flevoland thanks all road users, residents and entrepreneurs in the area for their patience and understanding in recent weeks!
Completed according to plan
The province has been working on both the bridge and the road since March 18, 2024. Among other things, the layers under the road surface of the bridges, these are the non-movable parts of the bridge, have been replaced with concrete. Despite the bad weather conditions on a number of days, contractors Van der Lee, Vialis and Hartog-Pilkes managed to complete the work according to schedule. The final work will be completed next Friday. Consider clean-up work and applying markings.
