“A gross overuse of military-level force”

Several of Diddy’s homes were raided by Homeland Security earlier this week. The searches are said to be part of an investigation into human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

The authorities raided the homes with a great show of force and many weapons. Images show that they have left havoc in the homes. Diddy was not present at the time of the raids, but his sons were and they were both handcuffed, although they were not arrested.

Diddy’s lawyer has now responded in a statement and speaks of the way the action was done. Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” he begins the statement. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
