The Brussels public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the traffic accident that took place on Saturday afternoon on Jules De Troozplein, in which sixteen people were injured. On Sunday, the newspaper Le Soir reported that the driver of the Brussels Capital/Ixelles police minibus probably performed an incorrect maneuver. “At the moment it is not clear what happened,” the public prosecutor’s office said. “As long as the analysis and other investigative actions have not been completed, no conclusions can be drawn.”
