Hind Eljadid about 505 – Concerts: “Humanity is connection, we need that more and more.”

--

Hind Eljadid, among many other artists and speakers, will be featured at the 505 concerts of Humanity this Sunday, May 5, in Antwerp. “Let’s just get out of our house on Sunday, away from our islands.”

“Els Hertogen, the director of 11.11.11, called me to ask me for the concerts, and I was immediately enthusiastic. The vision of the event is also my vision. The strong signal of humanity that the organization conveys is exactly what we need. We all need connection more and more.”

“With the concerts we draw attention to various current problems that affect many people. We talk about gender equality, the situation in Palestine, human rights…”

“When it comes to raising awareness about these issues, yes, I am certainly among the first to raise their hands. I would like to lend my support to this. So I’m really happy that I can present on Sunday.”

“Let’s just get out of our house on Sunday, away from our islands. Let’s connect with people we might not easily meet. And let’s enjoy the music and the artists who will be present at the concerts, that is of course also very important. There will be a whole range of fantastic artists, but there will also be many interesting speakers!

I think Sunday could have a very interesting dynamic. And the event is free, so you really have no reason to stay home!
