(ABM FN) The Bel20 index opened higher again on Wednesday at 3,903.60 points, after closing on Tuesday at 3,890.71 points.

Melexis’ quarterly report was received with applause. The price rose by more than 13 percent.

Within the main index, AB InBev was the second strongest riser with a gain of approximately 1 percent, after quarterly figures from Amsterdam’s Heineken.

Lotus Bakeries lost about half a percent

On the broader market, Barco opened more than 3 percent higher, following Tuesday’s post-data squeeze.

There were no real outliers among the small caps.
