It was already clear that these U21s are doing well in the region during their visit to BT United, you can read about what happened there here.
At kick-off there was still a lot of rain and a lot of thunder was heard in the distance, fortunately this nuisance was largely limited.
The first danger came in the opening minute via a crossed breakaway shot from home player Kaelen. The ball flew over. In minute five, Lozenhoekers De Cock and Van Muysen were unable to start with a dangerous penalty kick. The Blackshirts continued to press, Van Muysen missed a dot of an opportunity at the left post.
Gradually, SV Grasheide was able to escape from that pressure within fifteen minutes.
A free kick from the left ended up at the far post where Tilkens headed the ball into the goal, 0-1. Steurs was able to attack away goalie Van Den Eynde, but he kept his cool and saved. In the end, Grasheide won 1-4 and they took the title in their regional series.
