Cultural temple Het Bos on the Ankerrui forms the backdrop for the showcase event ‘Work in Progress’ on Friday evening. The leading Antwerp music platform Overlast invites six artists who worked under its wing on a live show.

Overlast has had a patent on supporting and launching Belgian musical talent for years. At the showcase event ‘Work in Progress’ in Het Bos, Mathilde Luijten and Florian Meersman, the brains behind the music platform, once again prove their worth.

“With Work in Progress we offer a stage to six artists who worked on their live show within our ‘Atelier Overlast’ project,” says Mathilde. “Atelier Overlast is a project with which we guide young musical talent towards a showcase. Each artist receives support tailored to his, her or their wishes and dreams. Florian and I strongly believe that they can develop sustainable musical careers in this way.”

“This Friday Kamerkaai, Lindy Versyck, No Sugar, Dj Caretoomuch, Felicia and Olga will present their creations. The six talents are joined on the line-up by Emma Hessels, Ariana & Jules and crate en floridada. Kakakaraoke, the karaoke concept of various Antwerp musicians, is also present.”
