Easter is the traditional ‘lamb days’ at the famous Vaneleke sheep farm in Merksplas. This year they are celebrating their tenth anniversary, but they are now completely dedicating the party to ex-employee Sanne Geerts (26). She was the driving force behind the company for nine years. At the beginning of this year, however, the young lady had a fatal fall on her parents’ farm and suffered a cerebral infarction. “After the fall and the operation, everything seemed fine, but nothing turned out to be further from the truth,” Nele and Koen from the sheep farm tell the story.
