UPDATEFifteen victims were told today that Tamim A. (23) from Kortrijk was sentenced to an effective prison sentence of 30 months and a fine of 2,000 euros. The young man defrauded them of 31,000 euros. But the fact that their stories are just the tip of the iceberg is evident from two new, impressive testimonies: two young ladies in love ended up in the web of the allegedly ‘immensely rich professional footballer’ and together lost around 65,000 euros. “When I stopped believing his stories, he threatened me with a gun.” Their case will come to trial later.
