Conrad Janssens, the son of ’emperor of the signpost’ Glenn Janssens and former Miss Belgium Ilse De Meulemeester, celebrated his 22nd birthday on Saturday. That was accompanied by a small party and some modest gifts, such as a bright green Lamborghini from my father.
“I still have to process last night, because wow wow wow”, Janssens writes about this on Instagram. “A lot has happened, most of it unexpected. Last week was very stressful: the combination of chickenpox at the worst possible time plus certain elements of the party that were still very uncertain, made me extremely restless. I tried to recover as quickly as possible, but I couldn’t relax because I thought the party – which the entire team had put months of work into – wouldn’t live up to its full potential. I was afraid it wouldn’t reflect me and my relationship with my family and friends. WELL, DID THAT WORK DIFFERENTLY!”
“Before the party started, I was blessed with an amazing makeup artist who not only transformed my mother into a ’90s Versace supermodel, but was also able to hide most of the chicken pox,” she continued. “It didn’t stop there: the party itself went better than I could ever have wished for. The highlights of the evening were my father’s speech (which made me very emotional), the fantastic surprise, and great performances.”

For sale from 225,000 euros
At that moment, father Glenn Janssens had already had a green Lamborghini Urus – for sale from 225,000 euros – drive into the hall. “I hope you will enjoy it and that we can enjoy it together,” he said. On his 17th birthday, Conrad had already received a Bentley as a gift from his father. “Now I have to get my driver’s license,” the young man joked at the time.

“I know that I am extremely blessed, and I am not talking about the fact that at the age of 22 I can already drive my dream car every day,” Janssens said on Instagram. “It’s super cool, and I want to emphasize that. But the most memorable thing is the bond with my friends and family. My father’s speech was the best example of this. “When I needed you, you were there”: those words almost moved me to tears. The fact that I can say that my father or mother or relatives and friends can count on me is the most beautiful thing in the whole world. That’s what I stand for. Not just the guy with the nice car, but the guy who will be there for his loved ones when they are in need.”
Conrad does not hide his luxurious lifestyle on social media, and is not averse to some provocation. For example, he once posted a photo of himself next to a helicopter on social media, with the caption: “How was the climate march for you?”
