On Tuesday, March 26, farmers’ organizations will hold a new demonstration in Brussels. The Brussels police expect that this will cause a lot of traffic disruption

The Brussels police advises against coming to Brussels by car on Tuesday. ‘Traffic problems may arise in the territory of the Brussels Region. From 6 a.m., Wetstraat will be closed between the Schuman roundabout and the R20, the small Brussels Ring, as will the Reyers tunnel coming from the E40 towards the center and the Cinquantenaire tunnel towards Wetstraat.’

The majority of participants in the demonstration in Wetstraat will travel via various access roads from early in the morning.

“The small Brussels ring road may be inaccessible to car traffic at certain times, as can the Arts-Loi intersection,” the police continue. ‘The streets in the vicinity of Wetstraat and the European district may also experience traffic disruption. The majority of participants in the demonstration in Wetstraat will travel via various access roads from early in the morning, and the problems may persist until the late afternoon.’

The police recommend using public transport, with a preference for metro and train, or using means of transport other than the car.
