The series ‘FC De Kampioenen’ did not stop at 21 seasons, but also received four cinema films about the popular football team. Herman does not reveal exactly how much they earned. However, he explains that he and his colleagues always earned the same. “When we started making the first cinema film, we of course made concrete agreements about the payments,” Herman begins. “We then decided to give everyone the same. Even if, for example, I worked 22 days that month and someone else only had to come to the set four times, we would get the same amount.”

The presenters in particular find this remarkable. “Has there never been a word about the fact that someone had to work a lot more?” it sounds. “No, we all received a basic amount. If we reached a certain number of viewers or a certain number of moviegoers, there was of course a little extra for everyone.” Moreover, the crew and cast of ‘FC De Kampioenen’ have made this arrangement to avoid arguments. “If we were to calculate the amounts depending on the number of working days, discussions would arise because someone would want the leading role, because then you earn four times as much. Things have always gone well for us,” he concludes.
