CELEBRITIESSacha Baron Cohen (52), best known for his role as Borat, hits home. At the beginning of April, Rebel Wilson (44) accused the actor of misconduct in her sensational memoir ‘Rebel Rising’, but those passages are now being edited for legal reasons. The book will be published in an adapted form in the United Kingdom and Australia.

The explosive biography of world star Rebel Wilson was withdrawn from the shelves shortly after its release on April 2 in the United Kingdom and her native Australia. The book needs to be edited for legal reasons. Some passages are deleted and other stories are explained in more detail. Publisher HarperCollins tells ‘The Guardian’.

It would concern the chapter about the accusations against Sacha Baron Cohen. Wilson mentions her ex-colleague by name and talks about his alleged sexual misconduct that allegedly took place on the set of the film ‘The Brothers Grimsby’. In it the actors played a couple. Sacha is said to have encouraged the blonde, among other things, to perform a nude scene. “Every day he said, ‘Just get naked, it will be funny,’” she said.

He also allegedly dropped his pants and asked her to put her finger in his anus for “a funny scene.” “He took it very far,” the ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress wrote in her memoir. “One of the production assistants came to get me to film ‘an extra scene’. Sacha was already there, and suddenly he pulls down his pants and I come face to face with his private parts. No one had prepared me for that. “Okay,” he said. “Now I want you to stick your fingers in my ass.” I was terribly confused: What? No! I wasn’t going to do that. At that point I was really scared.” Finally, he also allegedly asked several times if she wanted to strip for him. “It all had very little to do with the film and art, but rather with his own sexual fantasies.”

‘Defamatory claims’

Sacha immediately denied the allegations and made several attempts in recent months to remove his name from the biography. It led to a turbulent period, during which his wife also filed for divorce. According to insiders, Rebel’s accusations would have been the final straw for Isla Fisher.

The ‘Borat’ star is very happy that the biography is now being adjusted. “HarperCollins did not fact-check this chapter in the book before publication and took the sensible but terribly belated step of removing Rebel Wilson’s defamatory claims as soon as they were proven to be false,” Sacha’s spokesperson said .
