Billie Eilish (22) is even happier in life these days. The American star said she found the solution to boost her self-image: masturbation.

In an interview with Rolling Stone the hit sensation explains that masturbation gives her a more positive self-image. “It is something essential in my daily life, and I have already benefited greatly from it. My brain became more positive than ever before. I would recommend it to everyone,” she says.

Eilish has said in previous interviews that she has dysmorphia. That is a condition in which the person has an imagined ugliness. The person in question sees his or her body differently from reality. Eilish therefore underwent hours of therapy, but according to her, masturbation is more efficient. “There are many days now when I can look in the mirror and tell myself I look good. I couldn’t do that before.”

Rolling Stone asked why she talks so easily about something intimate. But according to Eilish, there’s no reason not to do it. “Sex is actually my favorite topic to talk about. Women would feel much more comfortable about their sexuality if they talked about it more.” Her orientation was also discussed. “Being a lesbian is something that doesn’t happen to you, you always have been. I didn’t realize that for a long time. It wasn’t until last year that the penny dropped that I wanted my face in a vagina.” (laughs)(tove)
