Vigilant in real life and on the stock market, this is what characterizes the investing style of actor Andy Peelman, a guest in ‘De Beursvoyeurs’. He emerged as a stock market disciple during the corona period, and with success. ‘I just follow my common sense.’

Never invest more than 10 percent in a particular sector.

‘Divide and conquer’, it could be Andy Peelman’s stock market mantra. Although it often tickles, he never sins against certain – self-invented – laws. ‘Never invest more than 10 percent in a particular sector, that is a fixed rule of thumb,’ says Peelman.

Coup de chance

‘Buying at a low point and selling at a high point are real moments of happiness for me, one coup de chance‘, Peelman continues. ‘Due to the pandemic, players in certain sectors suffered a deep setback. I responded to this and invested in the aviation sector, car rental companies, etc., simply by following my common sense. I invested 25,000 euros in shares and turned it into 80,000 euros, which is anything but bad.’

In addition to being an actor, Peelman is also an entrepreneur: he runs a clothing and shoe store. ‘Playing is my favorite thing to do, but you have to have something up your sleeve.’ He concludes with an appeal: ‘I hope that people will become a little more chauvinistic again and continue to support their local trader.’
