The elderly woman was walking on a hill in Greenwood Village when she suddenly became stuck. Her daughter notified the police, who then dispatched Officer Austin and K9 dog Mercury. Bodycam footage shows the dog sniffing through the bushes and finding the woman after just ten minutes. “Unbelievable!” says the victim’s daughter afterwards. The heroic Mercury has only been with the police for a year and a half and is trained in tracking down missing persons and narcotics.
