Drones have attacked factories in Russia’s Autonomous Republic of Tatarstan. According to local authorities, injuries were reported. The republic is located approximately 1,000 kilometers as the crow flies from the border with Ukraine.

“This morning an aerial drone attack was carried out on Tatarstan factories in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk,” the press service of Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnichanov said on messaging application Telegram.
According to the leader, no serious damage was caused. There have been injuries in Yelaboega. The Russian emergency services spoke of six injured people, according to reports from the Russian state news agency TASS.
Chemical products
This would concern the Alaboega special economic zone, established in 2006, where dozens of factories and companies are located. These companies specialize in chemical products, mechanics and the treatment of metals.
A large oil refinery is located in Nizhnekamsk.
