Under the spell of wrong and right
DOCU • In this documentary series, writer Onno Blom delves into his family’s ‘wrong’ past with the help of his father Hans. In the years before and during the Second World War, the Blom family consisted of nine fanatical NSB members and one ‘renegade’: Jan, the father of Hans and grandfather of Onno. He broke with his parents and seven brothers and sisters to join the armed resistance in Friesland as an army adjutant. After the liberation the family was reunited, but the family kept silent about war and division.

Axel enters: young dementia
HUMAN INTEREST • Axel Daeseleire stays for five days and four nights in places where you normally cannot just stay. He lives with it at the rhythm of the residents and staff. In Sint-Andries in Bruges he sympathizes with people with young-onset dementia. He sees peers change because of the disease.

HUMAN INTEREST • The visually impaired Karl Meesters goes on a trip with musicians. He is 44, comes from Brussels, is a concert organizer and life coach. Nothing to see is a six-part road movie in which Meesters brings a different view of the world and lets his guests, including Raymond van het Groenewoud, Coely and Pommelien Thijs, discover the power of sound and music. In the first episode, Tijs Vanneste accompanies him to Switzerland, in search of the hidden sound of singing glaciers and the sounds of an alphorn.
