Fans have to wait even longer for the third season of the HBO series ‘Euphoria’. Several American media report this, including news website ‘Deadline’. In November it was reported that the third season was planned for 2025, but it is not clear whether that is feasible.
“HBO and director Sam Levinson remain committed to creating an exceptional third season,” HBO said in a statement to Deadline. “In the meantime, we will enable our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”
Production of the third series had already been significantly delayed due to the strikes in Hollywood last year. The death of actor Angus Cloud was also a setback for the makers of the popular series.
The first season of the series was released in 2019. The series is about students and their experiences with sex, friendship, drugs and love. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi, among others, became sought-after names in Hollywood thanks to their roles in the series.
