The police have arrested a third suspect in the investigation into the double murder in Kraainem of 46-year-old Magali and her 17-year-old daughter Coline. Last week, the victims’ stepfather/partner was also arrested again, along with a man he allegedly ordered to carry out the murder. This is reported by the public prosecutor’s office of Halle-Vilvoorde.
Last week, Pierre D., the ex-partner and stepfather of the two victims, and BN, a 39-year-old man of Congolese nationality from Brussels who is suspected of killing the victims on behalf of D., were arrested. The two victims were found dead on March 24 in the home in Kraainem where they lived together with P. Magali W. and Pierre D. had been a couple for years, but that relationship ended on the rocks.

The public prosecutor’s office of Halle-Vilvoorde now reports that a third suspect has been arrested by the Brussels investigating judge. “The further investigation has led to the identification of the intermediary between the partner and the perpetrator of the facts,” said spokesman Gilles Blondeau. “This person, a 36-year-old man from Libin, is said to have put the two people in contact with each other. The person concerned was placed under an arrest warrant by the investigating judge yesterday.”
