The riders in the Vuelta enjoy a well-deserved rest day today. Stay informed here of all the news and facts from the Vuelta a España.

  1. 12 noon 18. Tomorrow’s stage. Just like after the previous rest day, the classification men now also get a day to get back into it. The stage to Tomares, near Seville, is a fairly simple one on paper. There is not a single categorized climb in the 191 kilometers that the peloton has to cover.  So a penultimate chance for the sprinters? Yes, but there are still a few small hurdles in the final. At 8 kilometers from the finish there is still a climb of one and a half kilometers at 6.1%, and even afterwards it is still nervous. The last kilometers still contain some sharp bends and the finish line is slightly sloping. For Evenepoel and co it is important to stay out of trouble. .
