According to Maan, she has outgrown her old music. Not that she no longer likes her previous music, far from it, but it is time for the next phase in her career. In an interview with Vogue she tells her it’s good to zoom out and get back to what brings you peace. On Instagram, the singer indicates that she has now found everything she was looking for.
‘Paranoia’
‘Paranoia’ was produced by Karel Gerlach, 1/3 of Goldband and Maan’s partner. The song is, among other things, in a cabin far away from here. On a dark beat full of synthesizers, Maan talks about the search for herself. As a result, the title of the song lives up to its name.
The music video is also a visual treat in itself. Even before the song starts, a boy says into the microphone “today we present the new Moon”. Not much later she herself comes into the picture. In front of a number of flashing cameras and behind a set of hoods, Maan talks about being paranoid. And with many new looks, we can say with certainty that Maan is in her new musical chapter!
