Saturday evening’s main competition at the Katershoeve in Loenhout was dominated by Laurent Nuyens, who not only won but also took second place.

He won in the saddle of the 9-year-old Just Daddy P daughter Daddy’s Day Dream P, after an exciting jump-off with only three participants in which only he finished clear. He finished second on Zalando vh Schaarbroek Z (Zandor Z). Julie van Den Bulck was third and last in the jump-off with Fedele Kandans (Vleut) and thus grabbed the bronze.

Evie Dircken finished fourth with Kylie Minoque Z (Kasanova de La Pomme), followed by Sam Mattheeusen and the Christel Stuer-bred Mojito van den Haagakkers (Zirocco Blue) in fifth.

Nuyens previously also won the Cavalor Cup with Lavita Van De Heide (Andiamo). About half a second difference kept Merel van Asshe with G-Hera Z (Griseldi) in second place. Evelien Dekkers and Latina D’ (Calluccio C) decided the top three.

Birthe Goossens wins on Friday

The 1.25m main competition on Friday it was won by Birthe Goossens on board the 7-year-old Stago Cc Z (Stakkato). Nico van Der Plaetsen came in second with My Secret of Usie (Emerald van’t Ruytershof). Evi Peeters brought Nirvana van het Heikanthof (Emerald) to three.
