The infamous argument between Taylor Swift (34) and Scooter Braun (42) will soon be discussed extensively. A documentary is being made on behalf of Warner Bros Discovery about the dispute between the two, reports entertainment website ‘Variety’.
The two-part documentary Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, is part of the company’s ‘vs. series’. Previously it presented documentaries about Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard and Kim Kardashian vs. Kanye West. The new episodes highlight the aftermath of Scooter’s acquisition of Taylor’s music rights in 2019.
The two episodes highlight both sides of the story. One episode examines the position of Taylor, who claims he had no say in the acquisition of the rights to the master recordings. The other episode addresses Scooter’s accusations, stating that Taylor refused to negotiate and instead stoked a public feud.
The series not only offers viewers a comprehensive masterclass in music rights, but also explores gender dynamics in the music industry and the influence of fandom. The series’ participants include legal experts, journalists and insiders from both the Taylor and Scooter camps. The documentary can be seen in June.
