Israël meldt vandaag een delegatie naar Caïro te sturen. In de Egyptische hoofdstad wordt onderhandeld over een wapenstilstand. Een Israëlische topfunctionaris benadrukt dat de delegatie niet uit topfunctionarissen zal bestaan, omdat het niet om een “acceptabele deal” gaat.
Hamas stuurt ook een delegatie naar Caïro. Volgens de groepering is de Israëlische overname van de grensovergang bij Rafah bedoeld om de inspanningen voor een staakt-het-vuren te ondermijnen.

The Kuwait hospital in Rafah does not have enough beds and resources to help injured Palestinians. This is what hospital director Suhaib Al Hamas said.
