Ranobo from Turnhout has a chance to win the Voka Entrepreneurship Prize 2024

Ranobo from Turnhout is the contender for the ‘Voka Prize for Entrepreneurship 2024’. Voka Mechelen-Kempen said this. Ranobo is a specialist in nuts, dried fruits and rice crackers. “We do everything ourselves: from purchasing, roasting to packaging and delivery. That will be noticeable,” says Gilles Jeuris, manager of Ranobo.

Ranobo is put forward as the winner for their region by the Voka Lokaal department Midden Kempen. Because of this award, they also have a chance to win the ‘Voka Prize for Entrepreneurship 2024’ in September.

Ranobo has had a remarkable growth trajectory. With recent milestones such as the successful acquisitions of ‘Quality Nuts’ and ‘Colosseum’. “Our growth is based on a deep understanding of our field. As a trained chef, I like to be creative with food. My training is certainly an added value when it comes to selecting varieties and putting together mixtures,” says Jeuris. “I really view this Voka Lokaal award as a business award. Our people deserve this. Our employees are the core of Ranobo’s success story.”

Entire process in your own hands

Striking: Ranobo has the entire process in his own hands. From purchasing and scheduling to packaging, order picking and delivery. This allows the company to respond quickly and effectively to challenges. Sustainability is one of them. Concrete steps have already been taken by implementing initiatives such as recyclable and reusable packaging, the installation of a green facade and solar panels.
