Bandai Namco today releases Sand Land, the action RPG based on Akira Toriyama’s one-shot manga. What can players expect?
Sand Land tells the story of unexpected friendships between humans and demons in an unforgiving world where water has become the rarest resource. The Fiend Prince of demons Beelzebub and his chaperone Thief, together with Sheriff Rao, search for the Legendary Spring to save the inhabitants of Sand Land. Their journey through the world involves new alliances and intense battles to brave the dangers of the desert and the army of the Sand Land King.
The world of Sand Land expands with an exclusive story and area, as created and overseen by Akira Toriyama specifically for the video game and animated series. Beelzebub and his friends venture into Forest Land, a green and lush land drastically different from the desert they have always known. There, more challenges await them: they need the help of Ann, a skilled mechanic, to take on the mighty Muniel and his dedicated army.
To travel the vast world of Sand Land, players can hop into more than ten different vehicles, whether it’s to travel great distances, drive over difficult terrain, or rain bullets on their enemies! Each vehicle can be customized with found or crafted parts to enhance abilities and suit different play styles. Players can also change colors and add decorations so they can show off their own style during their adventures.
