Live /s Live finalizes line-up including Absynthe Minded, Gavin James and Magnus

Live /is Live still owed us a few names. With the announcement of its ten final acts, the organization announces that the timetable is now completely filled. On Friday, June 28, we can prepare for a performance by, among others Ruti. The British singer captivated six years ago The Voice UK and then more than deservedly emerged as the winner. There was one spot left on the program for the first day of the festival and it went to the Scot Jacob Alon. Inspired by Jeff Buckley and Adrianne Lenker, among others, the young man writes intriguing pop songs with a sweet mildness. Both singer-songwriters will perform on the Dageraad stage.

One of the last spots on day two is reserved for Absynthe Minded. The Ghent band has been stuck on the Belgian music scene for years. “My Heroics, Part One” and “Envoi” are their most popular songs and are still regularly heard on various radio stations. Last year the foursome released its eighth album, Sunday Painter, unleashed on the world, with which she still maintains her characteristic mix of indie pop, rock and jazz – with the necessary creativity. Whoever will appear on the Big Stage that afternoon is Trombone Shortyof Orleans Ave in his wake. Traditionally, Tom Barman and CJ Bolland also come from Magnus Come by again to get us dancing with a DJ set, but first comes Iskander Moon Packing Dageraad on the Left Bank with its sweet indie pop. Last but not least is the electro duo Charlotte & Reinhard who will provide Live /s Live with an energetic set on Saturday afternoon.

The festival will be supplemented on June 30 with, among other things Gavin James, who flies from the Irish capital to Antwerp to perform his poppy folk songs. With pure, vulnerable songwriting that comes straight from the heart, you will Emmy d’Arc that of many festival goers. Frankie Fame comes to sprinkle Dageraad on Sundays with his glittering cosmo doll.
