Bologna won easily at home against Salernitana, the red lantern from Serie A. Red Devil Alexis Saelemaekers played a leading role. He doubled the lead just before half-time with a nice kick and also provided an assist just before the final whistle.
Bologna is on a crazy series. Since the beginning of February, coach Motta’s team has won 24 out of 27. Only leader Inter has proven to be too strong in recent months.
On Easter Monday, Bologna was not the toughest nut to crack. Salernitana could only win two matches this season and never claimed a victory today.
Orsolini gave the home team the lead after fifteen minutes of play and with a beautiful shot into the square, Saelemaekers made it 2-0 just before half-time.
And the Belgian had something nice in store for the fans. In added time he provided the assist to Lykogiannis with a clever backheel: 3-0.
