A brand new Marvel game will be revealed later today at 4pm. At least if we can believe The Game Awards presenter Geoff Keighley. The guy already teased the game on social media. Will the project be a real surprise? Not really, because the title would have been leaked before.
According to Forbes, it will be a 6v6 third-person arena shooter a la Overwatch, with several starring Marvel heroes and their superpowers. A title has not yet been announced. The game is said to be in the making at NetEase, one of the mega publishers from China that has a huge number of studios under it.
As you know, most of NetEase’s games are free-to-play games for mobile platforms with a lot of Gacha elements. It is not immediately known whether this Marvel arena shooter will have the same concept, although the title would be released for consoles and PC instead of mobile.
