Apple usually unveils that year’s Apple Watch Pride Edition in mid-May, ahead of Pride month in the United States. This year, Apple is extra early, because the Apple Watch Pride band for 2024 has been officially unveiled in a press release. It is a braided solo band. Apple previously released such a band, but this one has a different pattern. The sports band will be available in the Apple Store on May 23 and, like the previous braided solo bands, costs 99 euros. Apple Watch Pride Edition 2024
The new Pride band consists of colored braided material and is only available from Apple, just like the other solo bands. This is because the size is very precise and other stores cannot include so many different sizes in their range. The colors of the Pride 2024 band are somewhat lighter than the previous Pride solo run from 2021. Each thread also has multiple colors running through it. The time is displayed in large neon letters on the matching Pride dial, in the colors associated with Pride.
Apple sometimes releases multiple Pride bands: a normal one and one from Nike. This year it has been limited to one band. In addition to the Pride band, a new Pride watch face will also be available for free, probably in watchOS 10.5. There will also be a new matching Pride wallpaper for iPhone and iPad, probably in iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5. This background consists of the word Pride, in large neon colored letters. The Pride 2024 band will be available from May 23 for €99.
