A new one is reportedly coming this year Prince of Persia out. According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, Dead Cells developer Evil Empire is currently working on a new game about the prince.
just like Dead Cells, this new game would also be a roguelike. The version that will be released later this year would be made available via early access.
Apart from the genre, not much is known yet. According to Henderson, the style of the game is strongly inspired by ‘French-Belgian comics’. Just think of well-known comic series such as Tintin and Spirou.

If this rumor is true, an official announcement will likely follow next week. On April 10, several developers will jointly release their own ‘tripple-i indie showcase’. Evil Empire will also present its new game there.
