  2. 5 p.m. 08. Neuville holds out for the time being. It has been a very good Saturday for Hyundai. After three days of competition, they occupied the entire podium of the Rally of Greece. And at the very top is still Thierry Neuville. The Belgian held out well during the afternoon session. He leads with a 34.2 seconds lead over first pursuer and teammate Ott Tänak. Another teammate Dani Sordo is third at 42.9 seconds. Tomorrow there are three more rides. It will be interesting to see how Hyundai’s team leadership will handle it then. Ott Tänak can use the points to have another chance at the world title. The Estonian is the only one who can still keep current leader Rovanperä from the title. Neuville may well fall victim to a higher purpose. .

  3. 12 o’clock 40. I’m surprised, because I struggled a bit with the balance of my car. I finished a good third ride, which gives a little more comfort. Hopefully we can do that again this afternoon. . Thierry Neuville.

  4. 12h38. Neuville seizes power in morning session. After a very tough loop of three stages on Saturday morning in the Rally of Greece, Thierry Neuville has taken over the lead from Frenchman Sébastien Loeb, who had to retire after an electronic problem.  On the way to the finish of the opening stage, Loeb let his car bulge. The Greek gods were not in favor of Loeb, because further on he had to pull his car over due to an electrical problem. Give up Loeb, no fourth win in the Acropolis and no 81st overall win.  His title competitor Tänak moved up to second place at 18″6 from Neuville, who, like his teammate Tänak, rode a clear round, set the fastest time and took the lead from the unfortunate Loeb. Also in Saturday’s third stage, Neuville drove the fastest time, was 13.7 faster than Tänak, who dropped to third place and lost to Lappi.  .
