Atalanta Bergamo managed to qualify for the final of the Europa League on Thursday evening. Charles De Ketelaere was once again of great importance to his team and continues to impress in Italy.
After a very difficult year at AC Milan, Charles De Ketelaere was loaned to Atalanta Bergamo. He is doing a lot better there this year than at Milan itself. He was also important again in the semi-finals of the Europa League with an assist.
So Atalanta can play a European final and generally did well this season. And that is also the case for De Ketelaere itself. He has already played 44 games with his new team and has already scored eleven goals. He also provided nine assists.
The question remains: what about his future? Atalanta rents the Belgian playmaker from AC Milan and the purchase option is expensive. Yet they are now more than clear in Bergamo: they want to keep him.
