Royal Antwerp seems to be able to use the millions again this summer. From that perspective, the resale of Willian Pacho seems to come just in time. He is doing great in Germany at the moment.

As we know, the financial situation in Antwerp is not exactly rosy. It has already been said that several players will have to be sold, including goldcrest George Ilenikhena. But unexpected and welcome millions may soon flow in.

After all, in England they are certain that Liverpool will push to bring in defender Willian Pacho. The 22-year-old Ecuadorian international is playing brilliantly at Eintracht Frankfurt and has attracted the interest of several top clubs.

Arsenal and Liverpool in particular have long been interested in the player. And that seems to be good news for Antwerp, if Frankfurt decides to sell Pacho. According to Sky Liverpool would be willing to pay the asking price of 50 to 60 million euros.

Extra millions for Antwerp?

However, an agreement has not yet been reached at club level, so it remains to be seen. In any case, Antwerp was able to negotiate a high resale percentage for the transfer of Pacho to Frankfurt. In this way, people at the Bosuil can dream of a few useful extra millions.

Frankfurt is in a strong position in the negotiations given the interest from other top clubs and the fact that Pacho still has a contract with the club until 2028. On Transfermarkt his current value is estimated at 30 million, but they will not be satisfied with that.
